KPU: Five Times Debate of Presidential Candidates Held in Jakarta

Jakarta - KPU has prepared the stages of the presidential debate in the 2019 election. The KPU has decided that five debates will be held in Jakarta.

"The place has been agreed upon, five times the debate will be held in Jakarta," said KPU Chair Arief Budiman at the KPU office, Jl Imam Bonjol, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (12/19/2018).

This decision was taken at the agreement of the KPU and each of the Paslon campaign teams. Previously, this debate was proposed to be held four times in Jakarta and once in Surabaya.

pojok id. Arief said related to the debate sequence had also been agreed. Later the first debate will be carried out by each presidential and vice presidential pair, followed by the second debate with the debate between presidential candidates.

"It has been agreed on the first debate sequence between the presidential and vice presidential candidates. Second, the debate between presidential candidates, debates," said Arief.

"Third, between vice presidential candidates. Fourth, between presidential candidates; and finally, presidential and vice presidential candidate candidates," he continued.

Related to the location of the debate was also determined in the coordination meeting. The first debate is scheduled to be held at Hotel Bidakara, Pancoran, South Jakarta. The second debate at the Fairmont Hotel, Senayan, Jakarta.

The third debate at the Sultan Senayan Hotel, then the fourth debate stage at Balai Sudirman, Tebet, South Jakarta. While the last debate was held again at Hotel Bidakara, Pancoran, South Jakarta.
